Dear Colleagues,

Alzheimer's Pakistan and Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) will jointly host the 12th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of Alzheimer's Disease International in Lahore, Pakistan, from November 7th to 10th, 2009.

It is high time that dementia is recognized a public health priority around the world with specific reference to the developing countries. This event will bring together scientists, clinicians, care professionals, family carers, volunteers and people with dementia to examine achievements and priorities in Alzheimer's research and various techniques in the management and care of people with dementia.

In addition to Alzheimer's Pakistan and ADI, other medical associations in Pakistan shall also support this event by offering man-power and technical know how.

As President of Alzheimer's Pakistan and Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to attend the conference. The presentations, workshops and discussions will provide an insight into various issues and an opportunity to learn from the experience of parallel organizations.
